Dana White wants Conor McGregor vs. Cowboy Cerrone in summer

Conor McGregor (21-4 MMA, 9-2 UFC), is currently serving a 6-month suspension from the Nevada State Athletic Commission for incident after his fight with Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 229.

“The Notorious” will be cleared to fight in April. Dana White would like to see Conor fight this summer.

As far as the opponent goes, Donald Cerrone (35-11 MMA, 22-8 UFC) is a fight that has been consistently discussed since he beat Alexander Hernandez (via TKO) at UFC on ESPN+ 1 month ago. Both fighters expressed interest in the matchup.

"Those two want to fight each other; they’ve both earned it, Cowboy’s’ fought anybody we’ve ever put against him. We throw this young killer Hernandez at him, ‘Cowboy’s’ the underdog and he goes in and does it the way he did it, then Conor’s fought everybody." White told MMAjunkie.

If these two want to fight, I’m down.
