Georges St-Pierre: "Nick Diaz would’ve been a ‘nightmare’ for Woodley"
Retired UFC superstar Georges St-Pierre feels Nick Diaz would have given Tyron Woodley a lot of trouble if the two had fought.
Nick Diaz may have been sidelined for more than four years now, but he still remains to be a big name in the sport. And for Georges St-Pierre, the elder Diaz brother could’ve been a much bigger superstar.
In a recent interview with FanSided, the retired UFC superstar spoke about his former adversary, and how Nick could’ve fared against today’s top welterweights.
Diaz was slated for a comeback at UFC 235 in March against Jorge Masvidal, but the fight never pushed through.
Nonetheless, St-Pierre believes the 36-year-old Diaz could have a lot left in him.
Diaz last fought at UFC 183 in 2015, where he lost to Anderson Silva via decision. He was then slapped with a lengthy suspension due to a positive drug test for marijuana metabolites.
